James W. Dunn is a professor of agricultural economics at Pennsylvania State University. He teaches about the economics of the food system and marketing decisions. He is also the undergraduate coordinator for the Agribusiness Management Program. Dr. Dunn grew up in Sioux Falls, South Dakota. He earned his Ph.D. in agricultural economics at Oklahoma State University; his previous degrees are from South Dakota State University. Dr. Dunn has worked in Ireland, Mexico, Australia, Namibia, and 12 of the independent states in Eastern and Central Europe. He spent the latter half of 1995 as a congressional fellow working on the Farm Bill out of the office of U.S. Sen. Rick Santorum of Pennsylvania.
